STUDENTS WILL BE PREPARING FOR THE WORKING LIFE
The İŞKUR Youth Program is designed as an employment program to help university students step more confidently into the labor market. The program, managed by the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), aims to increase students' employability, help them gain work discipline, and support them in gaining practical work experience. The program, which will be implemented in cooperation with state universities, allows students to work up to three days a week, providing them with short-term insurance coverage and a daily wage for their work. The İŞKUR Youth Program will be implemented with a part-time participation model, where each university's students will participate for a maximum of three days a week. The program will be available for students whose household income is below three times the minimum wage. Students participating in the program will receive a daily payment of 1,083 Turkish lira, meaning that those who attend the program for 5 days a month will receive 5,415 lira, and those who attend for 14 days will receive approximately 15,162 lira.
