A "tax" seminar for people with disabilities was held in Alanya

At the "Engelsiz Park ve Yaşam Merkezi" (Disabled Park and Life Center) in Alanya, an important informational event was hosted for people with disabilities and their families as part of Tax Week. Experts from the Alanya Tax Office explained the tax rights and exemptions for people with disabilities.

The event was organized to raise awareness about the tax obligations and rights of people with disabilities. The Alanya Tax Office specialists provided detailed information on VAT, vehicle taxes, excise exemptions, and other tax discounts. Participants were educated about tax regulations that directly affect their daily lives and received guidance on how to utilize their rights.

BUREAUCRATIC PROCESSES EXPLAINED

During the event, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive one-on-one answers from experts in an interactive setting. Tax experts also explained the bureaucratic processes that people with disabilities might face and provided solution-oriented approaches. Attendees were able to clear up any uncertainties regarding taxes and learn how to use their rights more consciously.

Burak Alp, Director of the Alanya Tax Office, thanked the disabled citizens for attending the event and stated, "We will always be by the side of our disabled citizens to help them better understand their legal rights and make it easier for them to access these rights. As the tax office, we will continue to answer all their questions and make the process easier for them."

Faruk Konukçu, the Mayor’s Advisor of Alanya, shared his thoughts on the event: "We organized this informational meeting to clarify the tax issues that our disabled citizens frequently ask about. We thank the Director of the Alanya Tax Office, Mr. Burak Alp, and his team for their support. As a municipality, we will continue to act as a bridge between our citizens and public institutions." He also mentioned that they would continue with informational and support programs aimed at making life easier for people with disabilities.
