The municipality provided zero waste training for hotel staff

The Alanya Municipality, in collaboration with the Climate Change and Zero Waste Department and the Cleaning Affairs Department, organized zero waste training for hotel and restaurant staff.
The training, held in the conference hall of Grand Okan Hotel, aimed to raise awareness about waste management among the staff of three hotels and one restaurant. The training covered topics such as the proper separation of waste in hotel floors, dining areas, and common spaces, the separate collection of recyclable waste, and volume reduction techniques. Additionally, good practices and mistakes made by hotel staff in their work processes were analyzed, with a focus on sustainable environmental management.
RAISING AWARENESS
The goal of this training organized by Alanya Municipality was to raise awareness among employees about zero waste approaches, daily consumption habits, and how waste can be reduced. Such training, which contributes to environmentally friendly tourism, aims to be widespread in the hotel and restaurant sectors.
