Members of Alanya Nature Sports Club, Dr. Adnan Sarı and Cihan Yıldırım, a Board Member of the Turkish Mountaineering Federation (TDF), successfully climbed Puncak Jaya-Zafer Summit and represented Alanya and Turkey internationally.
Members of Alanya Nature Sports Club, Dr. Adnan Sarı and Cihan Yıldırım, a Board Member of the Turkish Mountaineering Federation (TDF), successfully completed the climb of Carstensz Pyramid (Puncak Jaya-Zafer Summit) in Indonesia as part of the "7 Continents 7 Summits" project. On February 28, 2025, they reached this challenging summit at an altitude of 4,884 meters, representing Alanya and Turkey on the international stage. Puncak Jaya is considered one of the most difficult summits to climb.
