Mahmutlarspor on the road to the Turkish championship

The Mahmutlarspor youth team, which successfully represents Alanya in the Antalya Elite League, won yesterday’s match against Manavgat Belediyespor 2-1 at Mahmutlar Sports Center, securing a place in the Turkish Championship playoff group.

Starting the match aggressively, Mahmutlarspor took an early lead with a goal from Semih Yalçın (1-0). However, Manavgat Belediyespor quickly equalized. In the final minute, Talha Gül scored the winning goal, securing a 2-1 victory for Mahmutlarspor and guaranteeing the team’s participation in the playoffs.

In the Antalya Elite League, where Akdeniz Timsahları and Alanya Belediyespor had previously participated but were eliminated, there is no team from Gazipaşa.

Yılmaz Bağışlar, the Honorary President of Mahmutlarspor, who also holds a coaching certificate, commented on the team’s success:

"This victory was achieved through the determination and hard work of our young players. Our job is not done yet. Together with coach Hakan, we will prepare our team in the best way possible and aim to bring a trophy from the Turkish Championship to our district and Mahmutlar.
