The Alanya Journalists Association opened their iftar at the nursing home

The only licensed elderly care facility from Antalya to Mersin, the Private Sabriye Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center, located in Demirtaş, hosted the management of the Alanya Journalists Association (AGC) for an iftar. During the pleasant dinner, the journalists also listened to the requests of the nursing home residents.

The Private Sabriye Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center, located in Demirtaş, Alanya, is the only licensed elderly care center in the region with a capacity of 46 beds. As part of the iftar event, the AGC management met with the residents of the nursing home and shared in their Ramadan joy. During the iftar, the journalists chatted with the elderly residents and listened to their life stories.

The nursing home management provided journalists with information about the institution’s activities, emphasizing the importance of events aimed at supporting the active participation of elderly individuals in social life. The institution’s manager, Emine Ertekin, stated that they provide human-centered services as a nursing home and elderly care center, saying, "It is important for us that elderly and care-dependent individuals do not remain alone and are more integrated into society. Your participation in our invitation is very valuable, and we thank you."

AGC President Gaye Coşkun also congratulated the nursing home management in her speech. Coşkun said, "I would like to thank Ayla Birben, the founder of Sabriye Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center, and Emine Ertekin, the institution’s manager, for their services. I believe they have met an important need. We visited this place, and we are happy to know that the conditions are good. We thank them for inviting us and for introducing us to our elderly citizens." After the gift presentation, the event ended with a commemorative photo taken with the nursing home management, staff, and guests.
