The construction sector in Alanya is dissatisfied with the sharp increase in concrete prices. Mustafa Küçüker, President of the Alanya Contractors Association, stated that concrete prices have increased by 100% in the last 4 years, emphasizing that prices need to be revised. Küçüker mentioned that price fluctuations have caused significant difficulties for the sector and that support for the local market is necessary. He also suggested that limiting exports could help meet local demand.
On the other hand, hoteliers in Alanya are facing financial difficulties due to fire safety measures. Servet Şakiroğlu, President of the Cleopatra Hoteliers Association, expressed that the changes related to fire safety measures have brought significant costs, which hotels cannot bear. Hoteliers are requesting financial support from the government and an extension of the process. Şakiroğlu also mentioned that door prices have increased by 500%, and they are awaiting government support to address this issue.
