Great success of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Alanay from Alanya

The world-renowned spine surgeon from Alanya, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Alanay, achieved a great success by straightening the spine of 15-year-old Kuzey, whom he had been treating for scoliosis for 13 years.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Alanay, originally from Alanya, was awarded the 2024 TÜBİTAK Science Award, known as "Turkey’s Nobel Prize." He successfully corrected Kuzey’s spine, restoring his health. Speaking about the successful treatment of severe scoliosis deformity, Alanay said: "This is an indescribable happiness for a doctor."
Prof. Alanay has made significant contributions to spinal health, received international awards, served as the President of the European Spine Society, and has trained surgeons worldwide.
