Black protest against violence at the Alanya Land Registry Office

In order to draw attention to the violence and murder incidents against women, children, and animals, Alanya Land Registry Director Oğuz Keser and the land registry staff started their workday in black attire, creating social awareness.

Alanya Land Registry Director Oğuz Keser and his staff took a meaningful step to raise awareness of the increasing violence and murders of women, children, and animals. The staff began their workday wearing black clothes and continued to work in them throughout the day. This action was carried out to support the black clothing awareness campaign launched by Alanya Municipality and to raise public consciousness about this important issue. In his statement regarding the awareness event, Alanya Land Registry Director Oğuz Keser emphasized that they wanted to express their reaction and create social awareness about the increasing violence and murder incidents targeting women, children, and animals, which have deeply shaken the public agenda recently. Keser said: “We wanted to contribute to the awareness initiative started by Alanya Municipality by joining their black clothing step. We strongly condemn all forms of abuse and murder. The place of women in society is a sign of respect and civilization. Violence against women means trampling on human dignity, killing virtue, tolerance, and humanity. First of all, we remember with respect and sorrow all the women and children who have been deprived of their right to life. As the Alanya Land Registry Office, before starting our work, we wanted to make our voices heard by wearing black clothes to show our reaction against violence, all kinds of abuse, and murders".
