Another sexual abuse incident took place in Antalya. Ecder Tayfun Polat, who was detained on charges of sexually abusing his next-door neighbor's mentally disabled Georgian daughter K.V. (16), was arrested.
In the incident that took place in the Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood of Kepez on August 22, Georgian national T.V. (35), who works in agriculture, and her husband M.T. (54), who works in an auto repair shop, were at work when their neighbor, body shop mechanic Ecder Tayfun Polat, went to the couple's house. Polat turned off the electricity switch of the building, took the couple's mentally disabled daughter K.V., who came out after a while, and took her to his workplace. Polat abused the girl there. When the girl told him about the situation, her family filed a complaint against Polat. Polat, who was detained following the complaint, was arrested.

M.T., stating that he worked at the same workplace with the suspect for a short time, said, "While I was at work, he told me that the apartment next to their house was empty. I rented it. Then there was some hostility between us. He broke the cameras I had installed in the apartment. Since my daughter has a heart condition, I constantly watch her from the camera. On August 22, I couldn't turn on the camera. I waited for 1 hour, but it still didn't turn on. I called the child, he said, 'Dad, there's no electricity in the house.' I called our upstairs neighbor and asked him. He said there was electricity. I asked him to check the circuit breaker, he went downstairs and turned off our circuit breaker. 10 minutes later, the electricity went out again. This time, my daughter went outside. When she came out, she saw Ecder Tayfun Polat. She asked him who cut the electricity, and he said, 'I took it down, I was waiting for you.' He took the child to the body shop next to the house. He had taken the child to his house before and abused her. He didn't want her to tell anyone He also put a knife to her and threatened her. After the incident, the child cried and told me everything.
