Slapped a sleeping baby: There's a psycho in the daycare!
At a private kindergarten located in the Pancarlı neighborhood of Gaziantep, it has come to light that teacher B.K. allegedly slapped a 21-month-old baby named M.D.Ö. The scandalous incident was captured on security cameras, and the child's lawyer mother, Gündoğdu Özer, filed a complaint against the teacher who left the kindergarten.
On October 8, the teacher B.K. slapped the sleeping M.D.Ö. After the incident, the teacher called the child's mother, Gündoğdu Özer, and said that the baby had slept on his cheek, causing a mark on his face. However, when the family went to the kindergarten, they noticed fingerprints on their child's face and immediately went to the hospital to obtain a report of the assault.
Security Cameras Revealed Everything
When the security camera footage was examined, it was clearly seen that teacher B.K. slapped the baby. The footage recorded moments of the teacher covering the baby with a blanket after slapping him in an attempt to put him to sleep. This evidence escalated the incident and attracted public attention.
Family's Complaint M.D.Ö.'s mother, Gündoğdu Özer, stated that they tried to discuss the issue with the kindergarten management after the incident, but the violence was not acknowledged. The assault report obtained from the hospital indicated that the redness on the face resulted from external force. Özer said, "I was shocked after watching the camera footage. The teacher behaves as if nothing happened after slapping my child. I will follow this case to the end and take the necessary legal steps."
Statement from the Kindergarten Management
The kindergarten officials released a statement on social media regarding the incident. The statement said, "We contributed to uncovering the truth. We severed ties with the relevant teacher, and the camera recordings were handed over to both the family and the police." It was also stated that the kindergarten has taken necessary measures to train and raise awareness among its staff and that the incident is being closely monitored.
Investigation Ongoing While the judicial process is ongoing, the camera recordings and other evidence are being examined by the prosecution. It is indicated that teacher B.K. may face legal repercussions in the future.
