Patient rights were discussed at Alanya State Hospital

As part of World Patient Rights Day, an informational event was held at Alanya Training and Research Hospital.

At a booth set up at the entrance of the outpatient clinic, led by Patient Rights Unit Manager Serpil Yıldırım, information was provided to patients and their relatives about "Patient Rights and Responsibilities," along with brochures distributed on the subject. These brochures covered essential topics such as the right to information, safe treatment, privacy protection, and involvement in the treatment process. Patients had the opportunity to learn about their rights through these brochures. Information was also provided regarding the responsibilities of healthcare providers toward patients. The hospital administration supported the event by engaging individually with patients and their families, explaining their rights and responsibilities, and listening to their opinions. Head Physician Assoc. Dr. Yılmaz Güler, speaking on the significance of the day, stated, "Patient rights aim to protect human health at a high level and ensure the provision of quality healthcare services. Through our Patient Rights Unit, we strive to address issues on-site. Our patients have the right to learn about all services provided and to request any information regarding their health status, verbally or in writing. We must do our part to ensure that our patients know and can exercise their rights. With this event, we aim to raise awareness and improve patient satisfaction. Patients and their families should also adhere to hospital rules. For better service, they can communicate their wishes, requests, and suggestions to our Patient Rights Unit. On this occasion, I congratulate all our patients and their families on Patient Rights Day and wish them good health."
