Drug dealers raided in Manavgat: 5 detained

In Antalya's Manavgat district, an operation was conducted against a drug manufacturing facility, resulting in the detention of five individuals, including three women.

According to information obtained, the Manavgat Chief Public Prosecutor's Office acted upon intelligence that M.A.Ç. and others were involved in the manufacture and trade of drugs in Side neighborhood. Following the issuance of a search warrant, an operation was carried out by the District Gendarmerie Command Intelligence Section, Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team (JASAT), and Side Gendarmerie Station teams at the identified address. During the operation, Z.C., M.A.Ç., O.B., and two women, D.A. and Ş.T., were detained.

Searches conducted at the suspects' homes and on their persons revealed 507 grams of liquefied methamphetamine known as 'Ji,' 6 ecstasy pills, and 345.48 grams of methamphetamine. After the completion of procedures at the gendarmerie, the suspects were sent to the courthouse following health checks. During their arrival at the courthouse, one of the female suspects shouted, "I'm on air until the end".
