Autopsy Procedures to Begin in Alanya in the New Year

He noted that before President Dr. Hızır Aslıyüksek’s visit, the Ministry of Health had already approved the authorization for autopsies at the Forensic Medicine Institution. Türkdoğan emphasized the importance of explaining Alanya's need for these services, highlighting how vital it is to alleviate difficulties for citizens during emotionally challenging times.
Expressing gratitude to the President of the Forensic Medicine Institution, Türkdoğan said, “We thank our Forensic Medicine Institution and its President, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hızır Aslıyüksek, for recognizing Alanya’s needs. By January 1, 2025, all appointments will be finalized, and we will be ready to provide full-capacity autopsy and forensic services. The Hospital is Ready
Chief Physician of the Alanya Training and Research Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Güler, stated on Dim TV that the hospital is prepared. He noted, “We have always emphasized the importance of conducting open autopsies for Alanya. Despite being a district in name, Alanya functions at the level of a province. We serve not only Alanya residents but also patients from many nearby districts. Accordingly, there was a growing need for autopsy services. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan took the lead in addressing this need. Our physical conditions are suitable, and as a hospital and management, we will provide full support. With the approval of our Forensic Medicine Institution President, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hızır Aslıyüksek, we plan to begin this service, addressing the existing gaps by January 1, 2025.”
