In Antalya, the report "A child's voice came from the sewer" mobilized the teams

In Kepez, Hamdiye Çelik, who was having a picnic with her family, heard a "child's voice" coming from a sewer grate and called 112. Teams cut the grate and searched the sewer line but did not find anyone.

Yesterday, around 5:30 PM, on a grassy area of Mehmet Atay Street in the Güneş neighborhood of Kepez, Hamdiye Çelik, who was having a picnic with her family, heard a "child's voice" coming from a sewer grate located on the median strip. After she shouted, "Who’s there? I will call the police," and no further sounds were heard, Çelik reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Firefighters arriving at the scene cut open the grate and entered the sewer line. After searching the line, the teams ended the search when no one was found.

I HEARD A BOY’S VOICE

Hamdiye Çelik, who made the report, said: "I heard a voice from the grate. It didn’t respond to us, but it cried out. We called out, 'Who’s there?' I said, 'I will call the police,' and the voice stopped. We shouted at the child 4-5 times. It was a boy's voice. Someone else was passing by here; they also heard the voice."
