International protocols at ALKU are starting to bear fruit
The cooperation protocol previously signed between Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) and the International Balkan University (IBU) in North Macedonia has started to bear fruit.
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) has started to reap the benefits of its collaborations with many international universities, aimed at providing students with better education and preparing them more effectively for the future. Under the cooperation protocol signed in November 2024 with the International Balkan University operating in Macedonia, the two universities have made a joint decision to organize a workshop in the fields of gastronomy and culinary arts. The event, supported by ALKÜ and coordinated by the International Balkan University’s Continuous Education Center, will take place abroad on February 17, 2025. The workshop will focus on Ottoman and Turkish cuisine with a handmade dough-making theme and will last for one week. ALKÜ's faculty members from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts in the Tourism Faculty will also serve as trainers. Details about the workshop organized by the Continuous Education Center of the International Balkan University can be found at: https://llc.ibu.edu.mk/Pages/Training/Details?id=87.
"WE ARE IN STRONG COLLABORATION WITH OUR PARTNERS"
ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan stated that ALKÜ maintains continuous contact with universities both domestically and abroad, saying, "Through our strong connections and dialogues, we are establishing robust relationships with many universities. Our main goal is to provide the best education to our students and enable our academics to meet with scholars from different universities. As a result of the cooperation foundations we laid in the past, this year we will carry out our first educational program in the fields of gastronomy and culinary arts with the International Balkan University. In this regard, ALKÜ’s global position and reputation are growing stronger every day. We can see this in the increasing number of cooperation agreements we sign each year."
