The courthouse in Alanya is busy! The number of enforcement cases is skyrocketing

The Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office handled 30,192 investigation files in 2024, resolving 30,859 of them. A total of 9,707 cases were filed in criminal courts, while 20,659 cases were filed in civil courts. The enforcement offices opened 34,229 cases throughout the year and carried out 4,707 actual confiscation procedures.

The Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office shared judicial data for 2024 with Alanya Postası newspaper. According to the published data, the total number of investigation files received by the prosecutor's office was 30,192. Within the same year, 30,859 investigation files were resolved.

The clearance rate for investigations was announced as 102.21%. Throughout 2024, the prosecutor's office received 754 case files based on complaints.

828 COMPLAINT FILES RESOLVED

Following investigations, a total of 828 complaint files were resolved. In 2024, 9,707 cases were filed in Alanya Criminal Courts. Of these, 1,484 were referred to Heavy Penal Courts, 7,150 to Basic Criminal Courts, and 373 to Juvenile Courts.

34,000 ENFORCEMENT CASES FILED

According to the data from the Alanya Enforcement Office, a total of 34,229 cases were opened in 2024. During the same period, 4,707 actual confiscation procedures were carried out. The total number of cases filed in Alanya civil courts was recorded as 20,659.

The distribution of these cases by courts is as follows:

— Family Courts handled 2,540 cases, of which 1,679 were divorce cases.

— Enforcement Law Courts opened 1,836 cases.

— Labor Courts handled 1,301 cases.

— The Land Registry Court opened 50 cases.

— Commercial Courts dealt with 1,360 cases.

— Civil Peace Courts handled 4,866 cases, 202 of which were eviction cases.
