17 days left until Ramadan! Alanya Municipality is setting up iftar tables in 3 neighborhoods

Alanya Municipality will provide food packages to 2,500 needy families living in rural areas before Ramadan and support cards to 2,000 people in the coastal areas between Okurcalar and Demirtaş. Ramadan tents will be set up in three locations, and 3,000 people will be served food every evening.

Mayor of Alanya Osman Tarık Özçelik spoke about the preparations for Ramadan: "The holy month of Ramadan is approaching. Our municipality is working on activities for this blessed month.

30-DAY MENU PREPARED

During Ramadan, we will set up iftar tables for about 1,000 people in Konaklı, Alanya center, and Mahmutlar, and every night, we will break our fast with our people. A 30-day menu has been prepared, price research has been done, and a cost calculation has been made.

NOT PACKAGES, BUT HELP CARDS

Instead of distributing packages, we decided to provide help cards. Those who wish can cover the cost of one iftar for themselves, their parents, or anyone in need, and after the iftar, they and their families will be prayed for.

INVITATION TO EVERYONE

For citizens in the city center, we will give help cards instead of packages, and for those living in remote areas, we will provide food packages. Also, citizens who wish to help 3, 5, 10, or 100 families can pay for the cost of a package, and we will deliver it with or without their name. We invite everyone to our municipality for guidance and information through our Deputy Mayor Ali Yenialp and the Solution Desk."
