Meteorology issues a storm warning for Alanya!

A storm is expected in the Mediterranean tonight, potentially affecting Alanya, and in the Eastern Black Sea tomorrow afternoon.

The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that a strong storm is expected in the eastern part of the Eastern Black Sea and the Mediterranean, which could also impact Alanya. According to forecasts, the wind will intensify tomorrow afternoon, reaching speeds of up to 90 km/h in some areas. Authorities are urging sailors and local residents to be cautious, stating that the storm is expected to subside by Sunday and Tuesday.

STORM ALERT FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN (ANTALYA GULF)

Meteorology has also issued a storm warning for the Mediterranean region, specifically the Antalya Gulf. Starting from this evening, winds are expected to blow from the north and northeast, while in the eastern part of the region, they will come from the southwest.

In this area, wind speeds are forecasted to be between 50-75 km/h (force 6 to 8 on the Beaufort scale). The storm is expected to last until Sunday evening and could cause disruptions in maritime transportation and a significant increase in wave height.
