A ban on street weddings has been imposed in Alanya

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin announced that weddings and other events held on the streets are now prohibited.

The new regulation will apply not only in the center of Antalya but also in Alanya and other districts. In Alanya, to prevent noise pollution and traffic problems, open-air events will only be allowed in designated areas. Şahin stated, “In Alanya, condolence houses and unused school buildings may be considered suitable venues for events.” It was also noted that penalties will be imposed on those who do not comply with the ban.
