During underwater excavations in a 1,100-year-old shipwreck off the coast of Antalya, olive pits that remained completely intact were discovered.
Off the coast of Kaş, Antalya, a team led by Assoc. Prof. Hakan Öniz from Akdeniz University found perfectly preserved olive pits in a shipwreck that sank 1,100 years ago. This marks a first in archaeological discoveries along the Turkish coastline.
