An E-Sports tournament was held in Alanya, where participants fought fiercely

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) E-Sports Community held the region's largest E-Sports tournament. The event saw the participation of 24 teams and 160 players, and the tournament featured intense competitions over two days.
The tournament was held in four different sessions, each with a capacity of 40 people. During each session, teams fiercely competed for grand prizes. The monetary rewards given to the champions and the runners-up helped turn this event into a professional-level competition.
"WORLD STARS WILL COME OUT OF THIS COMMUNITY" ALKÜ E-Sports Community Founder Ersin Sandal, in a statement after the tournament, highlighted the potential of E-Sports in Alanya: "The interest in our community has been growing every day since we established it. One of the biggest signs of this interest was the first large-scale E-Sports tournament held in Alanya. Previously, a sports club had asked for our support to establish an E-Sports division, but later, when they tried to exclude us from the process, we ended the cooperation. Now, we plan to negotiate with two major sports clubs to lay a stronger foundation for the future of E-Sports. The data from this tournament will play a crucial role in these talks.
I am confident that the best E-Sports players in the world will come out of our community. Some club officials, aware of the E-Sports craze in Alanya, have already contacted us. Furthermore, we are very close to signing an agreement with Riot Games. For some of our future tournaments, Riot Games will take over the organizational processes. I would like to thank all the management team and participants for this great success."
ALANYA IS BECOMING THE NEW E-SPORTS CENTER This major tournament was an important step in the professional rise of E-Sports in Alanya. The growing interest from both players and corporate brands could help establish Alanya as a key center in this field. The upcoming projects by ALKÜ E-Sports Community are expected to further strengthen digital competition in Alanya.
