Fraud warning in Alanya, don't fall for it

In Alanya, where the real estate sector has been struggling with a crisis for a long time, fraudsters have now become the new target. Real estate agents are dealing with fraudsters who contact them online, offering apartments for sale at low prices.

Özgür Erbaş, President of the Alanya Real Estate Agents Association (ALEMDER), warned his colleagues and emphasized that no money should be paid until the title deed transaction is completed. Erbaş pointed out that fraudsters initially deceive by offering apartments at attractive prices over the phone, but when it comes to signing, they provide evasive answers. Agents were reminded to obtain title deed registration and identity verification from both buyers and sellers before proceeding with any transaction.
