A person who entered the sea to spearfish in Manavgat drowned.

In the evening, a person who entered the sea at Sorgun beach called for help. Upon reports from nearby citizens, gendarmerie, coast guard, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

During the search and rescue operation in the sea, the coast guard teams found a male body after a while.

Since no identification was found on him, the body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution morgue after an examination at the scene.

Eyewitnesses stated that the person who entered the sea was trying to fish with a spear.
