According to this regulation, alcohol lock systems will be integrated into vehicles, and drivers' alcohol levels will be measured by devices. If the alcohol level exceeds a certain limit, the vehicle will not start.

Since a large portion of traffic accidents occurs under the influence of alcohol, this regulation is seen as an important step in preventing drunk driving and increasing road safety. Vehicle owners will face a transition period for the system integration.

The new regulation will be applied, considering Alanya’s tourist structure, to ensure that both local and foreign tourists comply with the rules.
