Call for Hand Cleaning and Feeding in Alanya

In Alanya, nature volunteers emphasized the need for hand cleaning of beaches, while municipal authorities called for water and food support for street animals.

Nature volunteers on Yeşilöz beach in Alanya called for the beaches to be cleaned by hand to protect the habitats of the caretta caretta turtles. Environmentalist Güldane Şahin stated that machines damage nature and requested an eco-friendly cleaning process.

Another call came from Alanya Municipality. Due to the hot weather, officials pointed out that street animals are struggling to find water and food and asked citizens to provide water and food for the street animals.
