The Meteorology Department issued an orange warning for Antalya and Alanya

The General Directorate of Meteorology issued an important warning for Antalya and its surroundings. Heavy rainfall is expected, including in Alanya, and citizens have been warned of possible flash floods, inundations, and storms with an "orange code."

According to the latest forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather will be partly cloudy across the country. Rain is expected in the Marmara region, the Aegean (except for İzmir and Manisa), the Western Mediterranean, the western and southern parts of Central Anatolia, as well as the areas around Mersin, Adana, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, and Kayseri. The rains will vary, with thunderstorms and heavy showers along the coast, and mixed rain and snow expected at higher altitudes in Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Eskişehir, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, and Kayseri.

Orange Code Warning for Antalya and Alanya

Heavy rain is expected in Antalya, Muğla, and Isparta, as well as in the eastern parts of Burdur. Frost, freezing, fog, and local haze are also expected in the central and eastern parts of the country.
