Applications for the piano competition and festival have started
Organized under the leadership of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), the 2nd International Alanya Piano Competition and Festival, for which applications have started, will meet art enthusiasts on May 3-4, 2025.
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) continues to contribute to society not only through its academic activities but also with artistic events and social responsibility projects. The first competition, held in 2024 as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Republic, successfully achieved its goal of providing pianos to Science and Art Centers in provinces affected by the February 6 earthquake. The 2nd International Alanya Piano Competition and Festival is set to once again bring together young talents on a national and international level this year. Organized under the leadership of ALKÜ, with contributions from Alanya Municipality, Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), and in partnership with Türkler Fine Arts High School of the Alanya District Directorate of National Education, the event will take place on May 3-4, 2025, at Alanya Culture Center.
As part of the festival, young pianists will have the opportunity to showcase their performances on stage and meet world-renowned jury members Hande Dalkılıç, Nazile Adıgüzelzade, and Ferid Adıgüzelzade. The competition will be held in four age categories:
Category A: 6–8 years,
Category B: 9–11 years,
Category C: 12–14 years,
Category D: 15–18 years.
Winners in each category will receive various awards. Applications will be accepted between February 15 and April 27, 2025.
