Saved a life for the second time in Alanya

The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Alanya University, Prof. Dr. Tuğrul Çakır, experienced emotional moments when he recognized Ramazan Öğe, whose life he had saved with cardiac massage 11 months ago, after Öğe came to him for intestinal surgery.

Prof. Dr. Çakır first met Öğe 11 months ago when he had been shot in a dispute over public land and was revived through CPR. After the gunshot wound, Öğe spent four months in intensive care and underwent seven surgeries. However, after his last operation, he was told he would have to use a colostomy bag for life.

Two months ago, Prof. Dr. Çakır performed a successful operation, restoring Öğe’s intestines, allowing him to use the toilet normally for the first time in a long while. Recognizing the doctor who had saved his life, Öğe became emotional, while Dr. Çakır expressed his happiness at seeing his former patient recover and lead a healthier life.
