TDU Summit in Berlin

In the capital of Germany, Berlin, a special event brought together the Turkish-German business community and local leaders from Turkey to discuss investment opportunities and tourism projects in Alanya.

A special organization was held in Berlin, bringing together the Turkish-German business world and local leaders from Turkey. The event took place at the conference hall of the Turkish-German Employers' Union (TDU) headquarters. The Alanya delegation also participated in the visit. As part of the International Berlin Tourism Fair, the event was attended by mayors, members of parliament, and media representatives from Turkey. Notable attendees included CHP Aydın MP Bülent Tezcan, Antalya Mayor Muhittin Böcek, Muğla Mayor Ahmet Aras, Didim Mayor Hatice Gençay, Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal, Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel, Marmaris Mayor Acar Ünlü, Dalaman Mayor Sezer Durmuş, Global Journalists Council President Mehmet Ali Dim, and veteran journalist Yavuz Donat. The opening speech was delivered by TDU President Remzi Kaplan, who emphasized the importance of increasing economic and cultural cooperation between Turkey and Germany and stated that strengthening inter-city relations would bring significant benefits to both countries. Mayors and MPs also made short speeches, stating that such meetings strengthen trade and diplomatic relations, create new business opportunities, and increase Turkey's economic influence in Europe.

THE ALANYA DELEGATION WAS ALSO THERE

The Alanya delegation, which traveled to Germany for the prestigious ITB Berlin Tourism Fair, one of the world’s most renowned tourism and trade events, visited the Turkish-German Employers’ Union (TDU), where they met with President Remzi Kaplan, Vice President Serap Yılmaz, Board Member Orhan Ak, and Press Spokesperson Doğan Azman. The summit was attended by Alanya Mayor and Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) President Osman Tarık Özçelik, and Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) President Eray Erdem. The meeting focused on Alanya’s tourism potential, investment opportunities, and the development of economic relations between the two countries. Detailed discussions were held on Alanya’s natural beauty, historical heritage, and sustainable tourism projects. The Alanya delegation explored collaboration opportunities to strengthen the region’s tourism infrastructure and attract German investors. After the meeting, President Özçelik and ALTSO President Erdem presented a painting themed on Alanya to TDU President Remzi Kaplan.

COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES WILL CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN

Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik stated that the meeting was very productive and said: "We visited the Turkish-German Employers' Union and met with President Remzi Kaplan, Vice President Serap Yılmaz, Board Member Orhan Ak, and Press Spokesperson Doğan Azman. We had a productive meeting about the promotion of Alanya, cooperation opportunities, and joint projects. I would like to thank them for their warm hospitality and hope that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries will continue to grow."
