Today, students from Arıkan Yılmaz Dim Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School staged a “Karagöz Play and Meddah” performance at Hayate Hanım Primary and Secondary School. The event, organized within the framework of the “I Am Everywhere” project by the Ministry of National Education’s Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education, received significant attention.

Mustafa Aksoy, the principal of Arıkan Yılmaz Dim Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, commented on the event, stating that the purpose of the project is to encourage students to contribute to social life through extracurricular activities while also promoting the school. He emphasized that the project aims to reach approximately 1,000 students across 10 middle schools.

Aksoy added, “As part of the ‘I Am Everywhere’ project initiated by the Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education of the Ministry of National Education, our school has started showcasing Karagöz and Meddah performances in middle schools to introduce traditional Turkish theater. We contribute to this project both to promote our school and to pass on cultural values to new generations. I would like to congratulate our students who participated in the performance, our guidance service, administrators, and literature department. Well done!”
