Record Participation in Ramadan Square in Alanya

The Ramadan Evenings Events, organized by Alanya Municipality, continue with great interest from the citizens. The night, which started with the traditional Hacivat and Karagöz shadow play, turned into an unforgettable Ramadan evening with hymns performed by renowned Sufi music artists Fırat Türkmen and Ahmet Fescioğlu.
The Ramadan Square, set up by Alanya Municipality next to the Old Municipal Building, hosts citizens every evening with different events. The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Murat Levent Koçak, Deputy Mayor Hasan Servet Ünlü, Mayor’s Advisor Nazmi Zavlak, and many citizens. The Hacivat and Karagöz performance, an important part of traditional culture, was well received by both children and adults. During the show staged by Durmuş Benli, children also participated in the performance and had a joyful experience.
SPIRITUALLY ENRICHING MOMENTS WITH SUFI MUSIC
After the performance, Fırat Türkmen and Ahmet Fescioğlu took the stage, offering a Ramadan evening full of spirituality with their hymns. Throughout the musical performance, which attracted great interest from the citizens, the square was filled with a deep spiritual atmosphere. The artists expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and stated that they would love to return to Alanya next year.

Speaking to the attendees, Deputy Mayor Murat Levent Koçak said: "The month of Ramadan is one of the most beautiful times when we experience spiritual unity. We are working to make these wonderful evenings even more special. We thank our artists for their contributions and hope to see them again next year." Deputy Mayor Koçak also presented gifts to the artists. The Ramadan Evenings events will continue throughout the month with a rich program every day.
