Passenger bus overturned: There are dead and injured

A tragic traffic accident occurred in the İmranlı district of Sivas, where a passenger bus overturned into a ditch. The accident resulted in 2 deaths and 25 injuries. Numerous medical and security teams were dispatched to the scene.

The passenger bus, traveling from Yalova to Erzincan, lost control on the D-200 highway for an unknown reason in the early morning hours. Near İmranlı, the bus with license plate 24 EE 062, driven by E.C., veered off the road and overturned into a field.

Due to the impact, two passengers lost their lives at the scene. There were 30 passengers on the bus, and among the injured, some are reported to be in critical condition.

The injured passengers received first aid from medical teams on-site before being transported to hospitals in the İmranlı, Zara, and Hafik districts. Their treatment is ongoing, and some remain in serious condition. Authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding their overall health status.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE ACCIDENT

Following the incident, the gendarmerie and traffic teams have launched a detailed investigation into the cause of the accident.
