Raids against fraudsters continue in Alanya

Inspections continue in Alanya to ensure food safety ahead of the month of Ramadan. Teams from the Alanya District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry are conducting thorough inspections to protect public health and improve hygiene standards.

Authorities are prioritizing inspections in public dining areas, bakeries, pastry and dessert production facilities, and meat and dairy product manufacturers. They are meticulously examining compliance with hygiene regulations, storage conditions, and product labeling.

780 BUSINESSES INSPECTED, 10 ISSUED WARNINGS

So far, 780 businesses have been inspected, with 10 receiving warnings for failing to meet hygiene and quality standards. Inspections will continue uninterrupted throughout Ramadan, and necessary sanctions will be applied to businesses that do not comply with the regulations.

CITIZENS CAN REPORT VIOLATIONS

Raising consumer awareness about food safety and encouraging them to report suspicious situations will greatly assist inspectors in their work. Citizens can report any food-related concerns to the ALO 174 Food Hotline.
