Bad News for Alanya Residents: Electricity Prices Increased by 25%
5 April / Haber Merkezi

As of April 5, electricity prices have been increased across all subscriber groups. According to the announcement by Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), the electricity tariff for residential consumers has been raised by 25%.
Under the new regulation:
Public and private service sectors will face a 15% increase,
Industrial subscribers will see a 10% hike,
And those involved in agricultural production will face a 12.4% rise.
The reason cited for this update is the rising costs of electricity production and distribution. Consumers in Alanya will also be directly affected by the new pricing. The increased rates have been in effect since midnight on April 5.
