Attention to those who will visit the doctor on these dates! Doctors in Alanya will go on strike for three days

Family doctors have decided to go on strike on November 5, 6, and 7 due to the enforcement of the Family Medicine Contract and Payment Regulation. In this context, family doctors in Alanya will also join the strike.

The "Regulation on Amendments to the Family Medicine Contract and Payment Regulation," prepared by the Ministry of Health, has been published in the Official Gazette and has come into effect. Doctors reacted to this regulation and decided to strike on November 5, 6, and 7.

The regulation, which is claimed to have been implemented to prevent the appointment crisis in hospitals, is argued by doctors to be devoid of scientific foundations, and the insistence on incentive payments based on the number of consultations contradicts the purpose of preventive healthcare services. The response to the regulation continues, and the Federation of Family Physicians Associations (AHEF), the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), Tabip-Sen, Hekimsen, and many other civil society organizations have decided to strike across Turkey on November 5, 6, and 7 in reaction to the enforcement of the regulation.
