Major Drug Operation in 71 Provinces: Antalya is Among Them!

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that simultaneous drug operations were carried out in 71 provinces, including Antalya. Minister Yerlikaya said, "Between March 19 and 27, 2025, in operations organized by the General Directorate of Security in 71 provinces and the Gendarmerie General Command in 15 provinces against drug dealers, 484 kilograms of drugs and 7 million 830 thousand 760 drug tablets were seized."
516 SUSPECTS ARRESTED!
Minister of the Interior Ali Yerlikaya stated that in the operations carried out by the General Directorate of Security and the Gendarmerie General Command in 71 provinces, 1,044 suspects were detained, and 516 of them were arrested and sent to prison. In the operations, which also included Antalya, drug dealers were prevented from operating. The operations involved 1,450 teams, 3,626 personnel, and 18 aircraft. 39 narcotic dogs also participated in the operations.
WHICH PROVINCES DID THE OPERATIONS TAKE PLACE IN
The operations took place in the provinces of: Gaziantep, Ankara, Samsun, Adana, Şanlıurfa, Konya, Manisa, Antalya, Bursa, Balıkesir, Mersin, İzmir, Denizli, Tekirdağ, Muğla, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Karaman, Hatay, Trabzon, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Kayseri, Van, Afyonkarahisar, Aydın, Eskişehir, Aksaray, Edirne, Isparta, Niğde, Diyarbakır, Erzurum, Kırklareli, Uşak, Zonguldak, Sakarya, Ağrı, Yozgat, Mardin, Bayburt, Çanakkale, Kilis, Malatya, Ordu, Batman, Bilecik, Burdur, Çorum, Erzincan, Giresun, Rize, Tokat, Amasya, Karabük, Şırnak, Kahramanmaraş, Düzce, Hakkari, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Kütahya, Yalova, Çankırı, Kastamonu, Muş, Nevşehir, Artvin, Bolu, Elazığ, and Sinop. In these provinces, 332 kilograms of drugs and 7 million 760 thousand 690 drug tablets were seized.
